Community Meals

In the Fall of 2024, St. Andrew’s conducted a series of research and discussion sessions to determine our path forward following a congregational decision to initiate and promote a community project focused on addressing people affected by insecurities in health, home, and companionship. During 2025, though it took some time for us to get established and find our rhythm, the committee has now found strong footing in one vital area—providing hot meals to those in need. During the last quarter of 2025, St. Andrew’s served approximately 300 meals to individuals and families in Hart and Elbert Counties. There is a sit-down meal inside our fellowship hall or take-out. We’ve also had a drive-by and pick-up option. In addition, meal kits have become another meaningful way for members to serve, offering practical support to families who need a little extra help. These kits are prepared in advance and shared as needs arise.
