Joint Service Held in Elberton
St. Alban’s Episcopal, Elberton
St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Hartwell
Grace United Methodist, Elberton
A wonderful liturgical service was held at the Elbert Theatre in Elberton, GA., followed by a luncheon at the Elberton Arts Center. The celebrant and preacher was The Rt. Rev. Robert C Wright, Ninth Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta. Assisting ministers included The Rev. Dr. Beth Sanders, District Superintendent, North Georgia UMC; The Rev. Reid Hamilton, Priest in Charge, St. Alban’s/St. Andrew’s; and The Rev. Jim McCollough, Pastor, Grace United Methodist Church, Elberton. Several people joined the church through Holy Baptism and Reception, and several reaffirmed their faith through their Reaffirmation of Baptismal Vows.
