A group of dedicated knitters and crochet masters meet regularly from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM every 2nd Thursday of each month. They create beautiful prayer shawls by either knitting or crocheting and pray as they stitch and talk and enjoy creating together. These are blessed and then given to church members and others that are known to need some comfort due to illness, life stresses, and bereavement. Work on shawls can be done in the group or at home.

 

Please let us know if you know of someone who could benefit from receiving one of our shawls. Anyone who knows how to use a hook or set of needles can join in this activity.
